The SABO ART Curatorial Division works with a global network of artists to organise cutting-edge exhibitions that encourage audiences to critically engage with artists from Africa and of African descent.
We strive to challenge the status quo and address socio-political issues affecting the African continent. Our aim is to foster pan-African collaboration and meaningfully contribute to increasing the international prestige of our continent’s artists.
Our curatorial projects are categorised as either ‘Exhibitions’ or ‘Special Projects,’ the latter referring to curatorial work outside of the exhibition context.
