Aziza Balogun is a creative consultant, curator and art dealer with experience working internationally in both the fashion and arts ecosystems. Having grown up between Lagos, Nigeria and London, UK, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Manchester in Classical Studies with a concentration in Ancient History and Art. She also holds a certificate in Art Business from Christie’s Education.
Aziza began her career in the art world working on the project management team for Nigeria’s first pavilion at the 2017 Venice Biennale. Aziza’s curatorial experience also extends to art fairs, having managed booths at international art fairs in Lagos, Miami and Los Angeles.
Prior to founding SABO Art, she served as the Head of Partnerships and Exhibitions at Rele Gallery, where she spearheaded public and corporate partnerships in addition to curating and managing bi-monthly exhibitions in the gallery’s Lagos space.
Aziza currently resides in Lagos, Nigeria.
Sosa Omorogbe is a creative consultant, curator and art dealer with extensive experience in project management and client relations.
She began her career in the arts handling fair programming as well as VIP and Collector relations at ART X Lagos, West Africa’s premier international art fair. Following this, she proceeded to work with institutions within the African arts ecosystem, including The Ben Enwonwu Foundation and Yinka Shonibare CBE’s Guest Artist Space (G.A.S) Foundation.
Sosa’s expertise also extends to classical African art with a focus on the ‘Benin Bronzes’, on which she has conducted in-depth research.
Having grown up between Lagos, Nigeria and London, UK. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Columbia University in New York, she went on to Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London, where she received a Certificate Degree in Art History and Art Business.
Sosa currently resides in Lagos, Nigeria.
